That's one of the taglines of Roti Boy, the somewhat new fad in town. It's this coffee-cream coated bun that has 'planta' slabs within and albeit awfully sinful, it's yummilicious! Trust me, "One is never enough!" Yes, that's another one of those taglines.
So far, everyone who I've introduced the bun has loved it and they just can't help but go back for more. It's funny how such a simple bun, with seemingly simple ingredients, can be such a delicacy. With a small stall cramped with countless staff, it's no wonder the bun retails at a whoppin' $1.20!
What's unique about the Roti Boy bakery is that it sells only its roti boy buns! There are many other Roti Boy copycats in the market. I've personally tried the one Bread Talk serves, but hey,
no fight man! I remember vaguely reading in the ST about the various copycats, was one Roti-mama or something?
Anyhow, it's a sure joy to be having Roti Boy buns :D If you haven't already tried them, be victimised at China Square or Toa Payoh HDB Hub.
